2018 Spring Conference

Date: Saturday, 10 February 2018
Author: Rev Raymond A Kemp

The 2018 Spring Conference is due to take place in Inverness on Friday 30th March (D.V.). There is a new venue – Culloden-Balloch Baptist Church – which is located at Wellside Road, Balloch, Inverness, IV2 7GS.

The subject for this year’s conference is Relating to Other Religions: A Biblical perspective in a modern age. The address at the morning session will concern the biblical principles and the address at the afternoon session will give some practical examples. Both addresses will be given by Pastor Ibrahim Ag Mohamed, Assistant Pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, London. All are most welcome and we trust that the Lord will bless the teaching and fellowship to all who attend.

A brochure and a booking form for the Conference are attached, giving directions to the venue and providing details of the programme. We encourage you to download the form and to consider attending. God willing, in addition to the two addresses two brief sessions for Psalmody  will be included, and a bookstall will be available. There is the option of a buffet lunch.

It is planned that there will be a crèche and that a separate teaching programme will be provided for children of primary school age (up to 11 years) during the morning and afternoon sessions. This programme will include a range of activities based on a selection of stories and themes from the Bible, along with some Psalm-singing. Parents are responsible for supervising their children outside these times.
