Lockerbie FC(C) Building Opened

Last Saturday was a red-letter day for the fledgling Dumfries Free Church (Continuing) congregation when a sizeable number gathered for the formal opening of their place of worship at nearby Lockerbie.

The congregation have been granted exclusive use of a former Brethren assembly meeting place, Ebenezer Hall at Park Square, Bridge Street, Lockerbie, which has lain disused for over a decade.

It is through Malcolm and Mrs Audrey Noble’s connections with the Brethren that the congregation of Dumfries has acquired the former Brethren Assembly meeting place.

The Interim Moderator Rev David S Fraser, Shettleston, along with several others are actively engaged in outreach in and around the church building, and door-to-door work continues in Dalbeattie and Galloway.
