The Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) witness is beginning to expand in Northern Ireland. Next Sabbath will see the Ballyclare & Doagh congregation begin to hold weekly services in Portavogie Community Centre.

Currently the Ballyclare & Doagh congregation meet at Torrens Memorial Hall, 4 Beech Green Mill Road, Doagh, Ballyclare, at 11.30am and 6.00pm on the Lord’s Day, but the new service will be held in Portavogie which is forty miles south on the coast.KirklandSideCU14 07 01 45

The Ballyclare & Doagh congregation and their minister Rev E Trevor Kirkland joined the FC(C) in May 2014 and have enjoyed encouragements ever since by seeing new people attending their worship services. Mr. Kirkland believes there are people in Portavogie and surrounding district who are sympathetic to the FC(C) and will support a new work in the area.

Mr. Kirkland will be the preacher at the first service at 2.45pm on 7th February and the stated supply unless otherwise intimated. All welcome.
