The Independence referendum is almost upon us and according to the polls there are many who have yet to make up their mind. The NHS, currency and economic issues, Trident, political personalities and a host of other factors are occupying the minds of voters.

The Public Questions, Religious and Morals (PQRM) committee of our church has produced a 76 page A5 booklet featuring an in-depth examination of the Scottish Government’s proposals for Scottish independence.  The booklet highlights how the Union came about in the 16th century and what would be the likely outcome for Protestant Presbyterian Christianity should the nation decide for independence.

Some might find the booklet too demanding a read therefore the Committee have produced a 8 page summary, which may be viewed/downloaded by click here.
