The Partick congregation was privileged to host a Creation Ministries event in Glasgow recently. It was good to join with visitors from other congregations and denominations.

The day began with the singing of Psalm 19:1-6 and prayer. After which, the Partick minister, Rev Andrew R Allan, welcomed all present and introduced the first Creation Ministries speaker.

Around sixty persons attended the event and listened to Philip Bell present the opening lecture entitled, ‘Battle for the Mind: Science and the Bible’. Following a short break for tea/coffee, the second lecture entitled, ‘Creation FAQs; Be Prepared to Answer’, was delivered by Lucien Tuinstra.

A lively Q&A followed before the formal proceedings were drawn to a close. A well-stocked book stall was on hand for anyone who wished to purchase books presenting the biblical view on Creation. Many remained to partake of a light lunch provided by the congregation. Mr Allan gave thanks to the speakers, to those who provided and served the refreshments, and to all who helped to make the event a success.

The lectures were live-streamed, but, at the request of the speakers, there are no recordings available of the lectures.
