The induction of Rev. W. Ian Hall to the pastoral charge of Knock & Point is expected to take place on Friday 8th May. The Presbytery of the Outer Hebrides will meet at 6:30 pm, with the induction service beginning at 7:00 pm to which all are welcome.

The service is planned to take place at the congregation’s own building, with the reception expected to be hosted in Sandwick Hall.

Rev. Hall was previously associated with the Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia, before transferring his ministerial credentials to the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) in November of last year (2025), under the mutual eligibility act that exists between our two denominations.

The congregation look forward to welcoming the Hall family to the congregation, following their vacancy, and to seeing the manse once again occupied with a minister and his family. Do remember Mr Hall, his wife (Jennifer), along with Toby (15), Clementine (13) and Sophia (9) as they prepare to move home.

The Halls also have an older son who remains in Australia. Rev David Blunt is expected to preach and preside at the induction service.
