Retirement of Rev Warren Gardner
The Atlanta congregation enjoyed over a decade of convicting and edifying experiential preaching and caring pastoral oversight from Rev Warren E Gardner right up to the day of his recent retirement, June 2nd 2017.
Reformation Presbyterian Church, as the congregation is known locally, was established as a Preaching Station of the Presbytery of the United States of America in 2004, with Rev Gardner appointed as resident pulpit supply, providing preaching and pastoral oversight. In 2006 it was raised to a fully-sanctioned charge, with Rev Gardner being inducted as its minister. In addition to his pastoral duties and role as Presbytery Moderator every few years, Rev Gardner served as Moderator of the 2013 Free Church (Continuing) General Assembly, the Treasurer of the USA Presbytery, and the Secretary of the Presbytery's annual family conference for many years.
The Atlanta congregation and the Presbytery of the United States of America give thanks to the Lord for Rev Gardner's faithful and diligent labours for Christ's Kingdom over the years.
