19 April Spring Conference

The Spring Conference is due to take place in Inverness on Friday 19th April (D.V.) from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at Culloden-Balloch Baptist Church – which is located at Wellside Road, Balloch, Inverness, IV2 7GS.

The aim of the Conference is to promote Biblical doctrine and foster Christian fellowship. Although the Conference is organised by the Free Church (Continuing) it is open to all and we welcome visitors from other churches and denominations. God willing there will be a creche and children's programme at the Conference. Booking options include a buffet lunch.

The title of this year’s Conference is The Biblical Doctrine of Male and Female in Todays Society. The speaker is Nigel Kenny of the Christian Institute and the subjects he will address are:

Session 1:

A biblical manifesto – staying salty and shining brightly

Male and female roles in society – a biblical perspective on gender

Session 2:

The origins and development of the transgender movement – when Harry became Sally

Time to Indoctrinate Everyone? – gender ideology in schools

Serpents and doves – how should the church respond?

There will time for questions after each session.

All are most welcome and we trust that the Lord will bless the teaching and fellowship to all who attend.

A brochure and a booking form for the Conference are attached, giving directions to the venue and providing details of the programme. We encourage you to download the form and to consider attending.

If you require any further information please get in touch with the Booking Secretary Mr. Lindsay MacCallum, 5 Salvesen Crescent, Alness, Ross-shire, IV17 0UJ. Telephone: 01349 884170.

If you are able to intimate the Conference in your congregation, on your website or by any other appropriate means then we would be grateful.
